Pixo 3.5

Pixo was designed to act as an "Interface" between plugins and the user. Rather than traditional method of applying effects to an image, Pixo removes all the barriers and makes it a breeze to apply effects to an image anywhere you like.

Add a 'Save As' option preferably to a standard file menu so that normal file commands can be performed

At the moment there seems to be no way to save the image to a different name or location.

Standardise the interface a little more so that moving between your graphics apps is intuitive. Most windows apps have standard menu options

Change the term Apply to be Begin or something similar. For most people they will think apply means apply changes that you have made already.

Add more frames and a way to wrap text around a photo, or have text fade in/out of the background

More pictures frames is self explanatory, but I would also like a way to "wrap" text, like in a half horseshoe or descending stair-step, or have the words appear to come into our out of the background. A way to give text a 3D effect would also be...

When clicking on a new effect, have it instantly accessible without having to click on the apply icon each time.

This can be a little tiresome each time a new effect is required.

I would like to see the program have an undo effect. I mean if you are using the brush and you accidently hit any of the picture that you do not want to apply the effect to there is no way to fix that

Add a 'Mask' feature, to save tons of changing brush sizes (and all the 'applying' before you can actually do anything)

I like to combine 'chroma-key' with various effects, but the danger of having to set an effect, 'apply' it, brush it on whilest keeping far-enough away from the part(s) I don't want that particular effect to cover, then zooming in and changing...

stop having to press 'apply' after selecting a filter/effect, or make the button bigger

the button is too small and at the bottom right, anyway: everybody is used to selecting an effect/filter to make this active without having to validate it by pressing this button. Selecting the effect in the list should be enough to activate it....

Allow resize of plugin names. All names appear truncated.

The text list of plugin names on the right hand side is not wide enough to accommodate most names. This either needs to be wider or more preferably, a vertical splitter bar that allows resizing of that pane (and saved so is the same width on next...

be able to use .nef format

It opens RAW format but not in a workable/viewable format. So would have to go to PS, save into .jpg to work with it. However, a neat program!

1. Get rid of that fade out effect, it lags my computer 2. open multiple 'custom plugins' at the same time 3. have a normal 'open file' window

Easier access to known effects would be good: text list (or small SFX sample images with text). Also there is a value in UI standards (like mentioned elsewhere)

At first I had difficulties to find my way around: what icon does what? And I could not find more than 2 SFX shown on the right, until I discovered the little "down" arrow... I appreciate doing things in a different way (brushing the effects), but...

Set file location to my Photoshop plugins via Options settings.

It would be nice that in the options you can set the file location of your Photoshop plugins so that they'll automatically be listed instead of having to search for each individual one when you want to use them.
